Many brides approach us about accompanying their mass ceremony. The most elegant solution if you do not want an organist, is to substitute harp. This past weekend, at Christine and Josh’s wedding in Tom’s River, NJ, we sent Jama Jandrokovic to cantor and Kristi Shade on harp. For instrumental sections we added flute, violin and cello to the mix. The harp and voice were extraordinary, not to mention beautiful. A wonderful option for any wedding ceremony!

For Jessica and Carl’s wedding we played Des’ree’s Kissing You from the Romeo and Juliet soundtrack. It was fabulous and of course the Mandarin’s candlelit room was stunningly romantic. They recessed in celebration to One Love by Bob Marley. Everyone loved their selections!

If you’ve never been to Gustavino’s, you must.  Some of the city’s most beautiful architecture is located underneath the Queensboro bridge. Who knew? Our trio performed and we were in awe of the space the entire time.

Kate, Kristi and I traveled to Hamden, CT this Saturday for the mass ceremony of Maggie and Keith. What a wonderful couple! Special thanks to Jama who accompanied the congregation with her gorgeous voice!

Our last stop on Saturday was the Lyndhurst Castle for Sarah and Bob’s outdoor wedding. They concluded their ceremony with a selection from “Peter and the Wolf” to honor Sarah’s grandfather. It was magical. And yes, we were even able to take a photo with Stacy London

We had an amazing time with Grace and Jeffrey this weekend at their Ceremony. A beautiful chapel and a beautiful couple!

On Labor Day we joined Alex and Elizabeth for their wedding ceremony at the Botanical Gardens in the Bronx.

A beautiful sunset ceremony at Wave Hill in Riverdale cannot be beat.

A gorgeous seaside wedding with Russ and Maria on Long Island!  Beautiful browns and blues… the weather was perfect!

Such a beautiful wedding up in Fort Tryon Park this weekend.  New Leaf Cafe is nestled into the park and so beautiful.  The ceremony was held on the patio with the guests seated around the Jessica and Jeff.  Very intimate and lovely!

John and Kate’s wedding was amazing.  So calm in an apple orchard up in Southbury CT. Beautiful!

We had an amazing time at Leah and Michael’s wedding yesterday! Outfitted by Darcy Miller and her team from Martha Stewart Weddings as well as fabulous coordinators Claudia and Jennifer from the Wedding Library. We are excited that we could be there. New event June 13-14  - check it out! It’s free and takes place at Sweet Revenge a yummy cupcake shop in the village.  There will be many tips on cost saving wedding planning as well as cool vendors for the NYC bride!

At our recent event we met NYC photographer Erik Ekroth. We fell in love with his photographs immediately. He took this photo of our setup - I love the highlighted blues. Check out his work (and hire him for your wedding!)

We thoroughly enjoyed the event this Sunday in Soho! We met a lot of great brides, performed over the lunch hour and had a great time interacting with the other wedding vendors. Thank you to Anna and the amazing team at Papyrus for hosting the event!
