Thinking about musicians for the Mass…

Saturday, November 7th, 2009

mass1

Many brides approach us about accompanying their mass ceremony. The most elegant solution if you do not want an organist, is to substitute harp. This past weekend, at Christine and Josh’s wedding in Tom’s River, NJ, we sent Jama Jandrokovic to cantor and Kristi Shade on harp. For instrumental sections we added flute, violin and cello to the mix. The harp and voice were extraordinary, not to mention beautiful. A wonderful option for any wedding ceremony!

Congrats Christine and Josh!

For Jessica and Carl’s wedding we played Des’ree’s Kissing You from the Romeo and Juliet soundtrack. It was fabulous and of course the Mandarin’s candlelit room was stunningly romantic. They recessed in celebration to One Love by Bob Marley. Everyone loved their selections!

A special proposal in the Park

Monday, December 29th, 2008

Rarely do we get the opportunity to play music for couples before their wedding day. But this evening we had the opportunity to play for Tyler as he proposed to his girlfriend in Central Park. (We would show photos of the proposal but it was a very intimate moment!)

The Wedding Library hosts a party!

Wednesday, October 8th, 2008

Last night, The Wedding Library hosted an amazing event at The Harvard Club for all of their vendor members.  It was fabulous!  First off, there was a photobooth.  The hit of the party! No matter what event you’re planning, you must rent a photobooth from our new friends at nycphotobooth!  (See evidence below)  Second, Liz and I met Gabriella from Matrimony Mony who is not to mention fun, but founded the most innovative company…  they choreograph your first dance!  You should really check them out.
